Well, I won’t be, but I’m sure you all will. Next year, I will be gettin’ into some trouble. Flirt a little. Kiss a little. Who knows. I’m gonna count down on my own this year. Make sure you guys eat those black-eyed peas. Although, that’s one more thing I won’t be doing. I hate the taste of them.

Day 6: December 31st
Kuumba (Creativity) To do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it. Light another green candle.

Day 4: December 29
Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) To build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses and to profit from them together. Light the last red candle. By now it will be the red candle closest to the black candle.

KWANZAA!!!!!
Today, December 26th, is the first day of Kwanzaa. As you may, or may not, know, each day represents one of the seven principles. The first principle is Umoja. Umoja means unity. Today we are to strive for and to maintain unity in the family, community, race and nation. Light the black candle today.
