My life....sucks right now
I need a job so I can leave home. My freakin mom is stressing me out. I know this cold sore I have is because of how stressed she makes me. So it’s Saturday and I only tackled a fourth of the homework I was supposed to. lol. Pullin an all-nighter tonight.

What in the hell is wrong with my teacher....
She is coming down with a cold and is literally whispering. I’m struggling to hear her. We can’t move because if we make too much noise then we’re screwed. I really wish that she would get with the times and use My Gateway so she could put the discussion onljne, cancel class, and not possibly get us sick

Played Alan Wake this weekend.
I know I’m a year late but I don’t care. The game is really good. I like the story line. The ending made me a little angry though. I think there’s going to b a sequel. I’m not sure though. I’m hoping for one.

I think that we are meant to be.
It’s amazing how much I love him. And I say that I love him without a falter in my voice. I’ve known him for almost a year and three months. He’s my best friend. We only got together on the 13th but it feels like longer. I know that this relationship will last. I can feel it.

Deep Fried Pickles with Old Bay and Buttermilk
serves 4 as an appetizer, 8 as a snack

3 cups pickled cucumbers, sliced 1/8 inch thick 1 quart peanut oil 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 cup fine- or medium-ground cornmeal 2 1/2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning 1 cup buttermilk 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly ground

ice
1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
1/2 ounce Averna
1/2 ounce ruby port (we like Noval Black)
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 to 2 ounces ginger beer (we like Fever Tree)
For garnish: 1 paper-thin slice fresh ginger, 2 blackberries (optional)

Combine the tequila, Averna, port, honey, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker...

Creamsicle Milkshake
serves 2
Ingredients
1 cup vanilla ice cream, softened
1 cup orange sherbet, softened
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup orange juice
2 orange slices for garnish, optional
Procedure
Add all ingredients to blender and mix until thoroughly combined.
Pour into serving glasses and garnish with orange slices.

4 parts bourbon (2 oz) 1 part Cointreau (1/2 oz) 1 part fresh grapefruit juice (1/2 oz)
Procedure
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
